What does it cost?

What do I get?

We run the whole thing from go to whoa.

We design the survey questionnaire, run the survey (including sending out email invitations to complete the survey if you want us to), analyse the data and produce the report. What you get is a report containing valuable and actionable information and insights to help you make informed business decisions. You will receive your report in presentation-ready PowerPoint format via email. We also provide you the raw research data in case you wanted to analyse it further yourself.

 

How long does it take?

From commissioning the research to receiving your report, it can take up to 8 weeks with a traditional market research agency. With Insight Revolution, this can take as little as 10 days. Typically, we'll turn everything around and get you your final report within 14 days - much faster than 8 weeks!

When we contact you after you submit your research job to us, we'll advise you of the likely timeframe to complete the project.

 

Will my results be statistically significant?

For Full-survey and Tracking-survey options, we recommend appropriate sample sizes to generate statistically significant results.
Quick-poll is designed to 'take a quick poll' of your customers on the market so it will give you a good indication what they are thinking, but is not as statistically significant as a Full-survey.

 

How do you survey people?

All of our surveying is done online. We send the people you are targeting an email invitation to complete the survey. Why do we prefer to use online surveys? The proliferation of internet access by all demographics, broadband availability and the increasing familiarity with which people are now using internet forms, social media and other content has brought online research into the mainstream.

Plus, online surveys are:

  • Less expensive - online surveys are much less expensive to run compared to traditional telephone or mail surveys.
  • Less intrusive - no calling your customers during dinner. They can access and complete the survey at their convenience. You let them eat in peace and you preserve your brand to boot!

Who does Insight Revolution survey?

We can survey your customers from your customer list. We can also survey the market by using a high quality online research panel. Our online research panel has a very large database of people who have agreed to participate in online surveys (see more detail on our panels here.

You can survey over 200,000 Australians and 6 million people worldwide right now! We are able to survey the gender, age group, and location of the market you are targeting. Or you can survey both your customers and the market generally to see if there are any differences.

 

Do you guarantee the response rate?

If we are surveying the marketing using and online research panel, the response rate to reach your sample quota is guaranteed.

If we are surveying your customers (your list), there are many variables that will impact the response rate including the quality of the list, how engaged customers are with your business or product category, the timing of the survey, etc... We will do everything we reasonably can to achieve the required sample quota (including approaching a large enough sample to start with, ensuring that the survey is engaging and attractive to complete and sending reminder invitations out), but we are not able to guarantee it (no research agency can).

 

Why does the price increase when I choose to survey the market using an online research panel?

Online research panel providers charge a fee per survey completion. This includes both their fee and an incentive paid to the person completing the survey. The number of completions (people who complete the survey), and therefore the sample size, increases the overall price of doing the research. This is the case with all research agencies.

 

Why are there three service packages?

We package our services into four separate services: Quick-poll; Full-survey; and Tracking-survey. Each service package comes with a suite of inclusions, benefits and optional extras that you can choose. We do it this way so:

  • we are able to give you a price upfront
  • you are not paying for services and features you don't need
  • you know exactly what you get for your investment.

All research projects are tailored to meet your needs within the parameters set for each service package (see the parameters here what we do. The inclusions and natural flexibility inherent within each package means they more than meet the needs of the vast majority of our clients. We can do pretty much anything you need, so if your requirements happen to fall outside of our packages, just get in contact with us and let us know what you need.

 

Why are there limits to the number of questions?

If surveys are too long, people are less likely to complete them, and even if they do, their attention spans runs out so the quality of the data we collect towards the end of the survey questionnaire won't be crash hot.

We've found that the limits we've placed on the number of questions both help us avoid these problems and still enable us to collect all of the information we need.

This is why survey design is so critical to getting quality information and insights. And expert survey design is what we do best.

 

Are there any limitations to the service?

If you want more advanced statistical analysis, we can do this for you, but as there is extra work in doing this, there are extra costs. We provide standard statistical analysis (frequency, means and cross tabulations) - usually more than what you need to make good business decisions.
